Ingredients
- 1 Cup good quality Olive oil
- 1 bunch Fresh Chives (about .75 oz)
Directions
- Wash the chives and pat them dry to remove excess moisture.
- Put the chives and the oil into the blender and puree it all together.
- Let the pureed chive oil sit in a glass container or other nonreactive jar for 2 to 3 days in the fridge.
- Strain the green chive oil through a fine mesh strainer to extract only the colored oil.
- Store the oil in an airtight container in the fridge, for a couple of weeks.
