Ingredients
- 4 oz (about 4”) fresh turmeric root
- 4 oz (about 4”) fresh ginger root
- 2 lemons
- 7 teaspoons of honey
- Dash of pepper
- Coconut or Avocado oil – optional – (1/4 teaspoon per serving) *
Directions
- Use juicer to juice the turmeric, ginger and lemon.
- Pour the juice into 7 small jars (reuse spice jars)
- Add 1 teaspoon of honey to each jar
- Add a dash of pepper to each jar
- If desired add 1/4 teaspoon coconut or avocado oil to each jar*
- Keep refrigerated and drink 1 jar per day
NOTES
*The coconut oil will solidify in the refrigerator. Also, I don’t really like to drink it with the avocado oil in it. You may want to have this when you have something else that does have a little fat in it (a nut or two!) to help the turmeric absorb in your system.
